American Shellfish Company is located on the southern tip of Virginia's peninsula, known as the Eastern Shore. The rural Eastern Shore is the leading area for shellfish culture due to quality waters and suitable climate. We are located approximately 200 miles southeast of Washington DC and about 35 miles north of Virginia Beach, VA.
